Synopsis

Olga is a young Cuban who came to Spain on a scholarship, thinking that this was going to be the triumph of her life. She decides to stay and, when her scholarship finishes, she becomes an illegal immigrant, she suffers the ups and downs of marginalization, she cannot return home and has to make a living. Mari Jo is a young Valencian from the Ribera Alta, born into a family full of problems. Her destiny has marked her life and her end is also marginalization. Both will end up as illegal workers in a furniture factory where, despite the fact that by law they should charge five euros an hour, they only charge one and a half euros.
