Synopsis

A group of Africans from Sierra Leone cross the Mediterranean aboard the Kenema, an old river barge that they intend to take from the Black Sea to their country. Under the orders of the charismatic Captain Anceo, and already at the confluence of the Atlantic, between Gibraltar and the Spanish and Moroccan coasts, the adventure takes an unusual turn: drug traffickers, corruption, emigrants hiding in the dark. A committed writer, Adolfo Hernández Lafuente has been able, with the skill of a good narrator and his indisputable knowledge of the place he describes, to show us the tragic reality, reckless most of the time, of a motley mosaic of characters driven by the winds of the Strait.
